On National Science Day

To celebrate the National Science Day (28 feb,2022), the department of Education together with other science departments and collaboration with  Institutions Innovation council (IIC)of B.A.M. Khalsa College Garhshankar organised Science Fiesta 2022 : Innovation & Start Up. Dedicated to the theme of 2022 ‘Integrated Approach in Science &Technology for Sustainable Future’, the students prepared Models, Projects, Posters, Power Point Presentation, Games and Rangoli. Approximately 80 students and 30 Faculty members participated in the event. In the Innovative Project category electricity from sound waves bagged first position, alternative fuel got second position and in start-up model category seismic wave solution secured first position, smart sanitizer secured second position. In power point presentation Artificial Intelligence in innovation stood first and Integrated approach for sustainability got second position.In the poster presentation category graphene application for innovation got first position and sustainable development got second position. The winner teams were awarded with prizes and certificates. College principal Dr. Baljit Singh encouraged students to further improve their innovation to register patents and write research papers on their topic.

 

 




International Day of Education Celebration

On 24 January 2022, International day of Education was celebrated by the Department of Education, B.A.M. Khalsa College of Education, under the theme “Changing Course, Transforming Education”. On this occasion a webinar was organized in which Dr. Harneet Billing, HOD Department of Education, Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fathegarh Sahib was the key speaker. Dr. Sangha Gurbaksh Kaur, Head of Education Department warmly welcomed the key speaker. Dr. Billing delivered a lecture on “Visualizing a Transformed Teacher Education Programme”. In this lecture she highlighted various transformations occurring in teacher education programmes in the country. Around 60 participants from different colleges participated in this webinar. E-Certificates were given to all the participants. Dr. Baljit Singh Principal of the college presented a vote of thanks to the key speaker of the day.
