Alumni NRI Mr. Darshan Singh Pinka donated Rs. 1.5 Lakh for needy students.

A businessman, US citizen, social worker, and former student of the college Mr. Darshan Singh Pinka donated a sum of Rs. 1.5 Lakh for the needy students of the college in the memories of his son late Jaspreet Singh. Principal Dr. Baljit Singh thanked Mr. Pinka for his contribution and assured him that it will be spent as financial help to needy students for their higher studies.




Alumni Meet of the college on March 12, 2022

B.A.M. Khalsa College Garhshankar organized an Alumni Meet of the former students of the college. The president of the Alumni Association Captain R. S. Pathania welcomed the guests and make them familiar with the working and goals of the college Alumni Association as he shared his old memories in the college. Several former students shared their experiences and their association with the college. Later, Prof. Lakhwinderjeet Kaur, coordinator Alumni Association thanked all the guests and members for their auspicious presence.




College Alumni Donated a sum of Rs. 3 Lakh to the college on September 29, 2021.

Along with Captain R.S. Pathania, President of the Alumni Association of the B.A.M. Khalsa College Garhshankar, other alumni Mr. Harikbal Singh Sangha UK, Mr. Prem Chand Dogar UK, Mr. Hardeep Singh Aasi UK, Mr. Shivpal Singh Rana USA, Mr. Chandar Parkash Verma UK, Mr. Surjit Singh Sangha UK, Mr. Avatar Singh USA, Mr. Gurnam Singh UK, Mr. Satwant Singh Sangha Canada, Mr. Raj Kumar Rana, and Mr. Harbans Singh Rana UK contributed a total sum of Rs. 3 Lakh for the Alumni Association of the college. Principal Dr. Baljit Singh thanked Captain Pathania for their support on September 29, 2021.




Donation of Rs 1.40 Lakh by an Alumni Sohan Singh Khakh

Mr. Sohan Singh Khakh, an Alumni of Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College, donated a total amount of Rs. 1.40 Lakh for the construction of car parking in the college. After completion of the parking, Mr. Khakh was honored by former MLA and member SGPC Sardar Surinder Singh Bhullewal Ratha in the presence of Principal Dr. Baljit Singh and other members on March 07, 2021.




International Day of Yoga 18 to 20-06-2021

Name of The Activity: International Day of Yoga

International Day of Yoga was celebrated by the National Service Scheme in collaboration with Department of Education with 3 day Yoga camp from 18 June to 20 June, 2021. The students of different departments of college participated in the camp. On day 1, a webinar was organized in which a student of department of languages, Yashpreet Kaur (District Level winner) shared her views on importance of yoga for maintaining healthy life and made the participants aware about it. On Day 2 and Day 3, the Common Yoga Protocol of AYUSH Ministry, Government of India, were shared with the participants to practice various Yoga exercises at home. E-Certificates were given to the participants who successfully completed and performed yoga exercises in the 3 day camp.

The world Environment day was celebrated by National Service Scheme in Collaboration with Department of Education with 5 Day Awareness campaign from 1 June to 5 June, 2021. The students of different departments of the college participated in the campaign. They collaborated with the students of other schools and colleges to create the awareness about various environmental issues in the local community. Report of World Environment Day (05/06/2022)

 

On 5 June, 2022 the world Environment day was celebrated by National Service Scheme.  On this day tree plantation was done in the college campus to aware the students about environment conservation.  This event was attended by principal Dr. Baljeet Singh, Vice Principal Prof. Jaspal Singh, N.S.S Program officers Dr. Arwinder Singh & Prof. Naresh Kumari and NSS volunteers. After tree plantation Principal addressed the students and motivated them to plant more and more trees to save the environment.
