Objective of the Event

The main objective of this event was to enhance students’ understanding of Graphical User Interface (GUI) Design and to develop their skills in creating user-friendly, visually appealing, and functional digital interfaces. The session focused on bridging the gap between concept development and design implementation in modern applications.

Event Overview

The Department of Computer Science, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized an insightful session titled “From Concept to Click: Creating Effective GUI Designs.”

The event was convened by Asst. Prof. Kamini and moderated by Asst. Prof. Navjot Kaur, under the guidance of Dr. Ajay Dutta (HOD) and Dr. Amandeep Heera (Principal).

During the session, students learned the fundamentals of GUI design principles, including color theory, layout structuring, typography, and user interaction flow. The event emphasized the role of GUI in enhancing user experience (UX) and its importance in software and app development.

Students also showcased their own GUI design ideas through demonstrations and presentations, displaying creativity and technical skills.

Outcome of the Event
